Re: Forms on Steinplatz
If it is easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism, how might we expand our imaginative capacities?
I follow an approach of creatively exploring ways to physically expand our thinking:
How do we hear our body knowledge?
How do perception and thinking interact?
And what do bipolar evaluation systems have to do with preventing creativity?
Between June and October 2021, on the Steinplatz in Berlin – Charlottenburg, I offered five opportunities to move body and thoughts around the question:
How do we navigate through the un/certainties of the present
into the un/possibilities of a humane future?
We moved with all those who wanted to participate, upon invitation as well as spontaneously. The narrated imaginary wandered through present and history of the location, and through doubts, fears and hopes for a common future on this planet, as well as through spaces of physical experience and experimental, meditative sound worlds created live on site by five sound artists and DJs:

Active participation in the movement research offered the opportunity to shape ones own as well as the shared experience. Simply being there and witnessing was also welcome. And in between and afterwards, there was time and space to share the dreams, fears and hopes for the future.
