participative art project and social intervention

artistic workshops and performative actions in public space in Kreuzberg, Berlin and Germany between 2005 and 2012

In more than 30 artistic workshops and performative actions, with an increasing number of participants between 50 and 85 years of age, we researched matters and materials connected to urban youth cultures such as street art, hip hop and graffiti. Related to the practical artistic work, we discussed issues like publicness, visibility, subcultures, borders and boundaries, prejudice and preconception, individuality, emancipation and the differences of private, public and common spaces.
